Breed Preservation Starts with You!
Support responsible, ethical breeding by looking for breeders that show. Each time a cattery shows their cats, they pay on average $1,000+ in entry fees, lodging, and travel expenses in order to have their cats presented in front of internationally trained cat show judges for review in confirmation and potential program use. Breeders and their cats do not win money at shows, and only receive points towards end of year titles such as below. Breeders that do not work towards enhancing the breed long term, don't show and pocket that unused cost instead. They often do not care about learning on how to improve the structure & genetics of their lines in accordance to approved breed standards and usually only breed for pattern and or color while hoping that pet buyers overlook their program's deficiencies.
